"Seemingly decent insurance agency. However, the last month or so has shown some concerning behavior. Firstly, a vehicle change took over a week to update. In the app. The digital, real-time app. Is this 2010? Secondly, my homeowner's insurance went up 17% year-over-year. I called and asked why, and the reason they gave was that my coverage also increased. How much? Not 17%. Inflation based. Maybe 3-5%. No where close to 17%. Their only response? Reduce my coverage. No.. I want the value not a decrease in coverage. They seem to be playing the game of attractive first-year rates and betting people will stay through hefty increases. This isn't California. It feels like they're just taking advantage of people with rate increases several times that of inflation. Lastly - right around when the homeowners rate went up 17%, I get a call - yep you guessed it - trying to selling me more coverage for my car to get more premium. Feels a lot like I'm just a revenue source rather than a cared-for client."
